sending passport to Nairobi embassy

My wife has sent her passport to the Nairobi embassy...How long does it take in Nairobi to get your passport back? does this mean their is no interview and she may get the visa with the passport?....thank you

depends on the case and officer, and also the courier you use(i used fedex). My passport was delivered to nairobi on october 23rd, and my visa was issued november 12th. My passport was given to fedex on November 17th, and i got it back on november 20th. I applied from the USA through nairobi outland. So that was about a month to get it back.

And when nairobi usually asks for passport, then interview is waived. Did they ask for pre-paid return coupon too? You need to give them one in order for them to send your passport back. Good luck. Looks like you are almost done
