Sending Passport From Canada to India

Folks - Do you know if it is OK to send passport from Canada to India? Has anyone couriered passport to India?
Kindly share your expereience

I know the reverse (from India to US/Canada) is not permitted through courier.

I am hoping someone can answer this question. Thanks for your help.

Please read the instructions on the last page of your passport.
If any courier company accept your package, you can send it from Canada.
As per my understanding, you will not get it back to Canada from the CHC by post of courier. It will be sent to your local address in India if requested.
