Just wondering if anyone else had done this we received an additional req for another original of the police clearance from thailand and my wife is wondering if she can send her passport with it as well. They haven't requested it yet we did win our appeal earlier this year so we expected to hear from them ages ago.

don't send your passport in until they ask for it.
it's likely that they'll need your wife to fill out an updated information chart (included as part of the PPR letter) and submit that with her passport when the time comes. secondly, she'll most likely have to submit her passport through a VAC, not directly to the VO. the VAC will require a copy of the PPR letter at the time of passport submission.
