Sending in OWP request may 1st

When would be the likely hood of receiving this? I'm contemplating applying inland in stead of outland as my visa runs out in 3 months. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Worth noting you are on an IEC visa, so you can't continue to work, even if you file an inland application with an OWP. You would be able to stay as a visitor, I believe you apply online to change your status to visitor (someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this).
