I have documents to send to Thailand. I was wondering what the fastest and most efficient method would be. Canada post, or a courrier service and which one would be most recommended? I have never sent anything international.
Thanks

Use a courier such as DHL, UPS, or FEDEX, DHL may be one of your better choices as there are DHL depots in lots of areas of Thailand. Its your choice but I wouldn't choose to use the postal system if you did choose the postal service it should be sent by Priority that way it will cross the world and be received as an EMS document.

I have sent about 10 parcels and letters from Canada to Thailand via Canada Post with no problems. Just pay the extra fee so you can track it online. Note, DHL and FEDEX don't typically operate in rural Thailand so it will pass a few more hands if you go directly to them. And they will charge you double or triple.

(tip - I asked my wife to write her address in Thai. I print it out and tape it to the envelope underneath the English address. Avoids confusion on both sides. Also, put the receivers phone number on the envelope)

Hope it does not get lost in Canada as the tracking system has not been reliable lately with Canada Post.

Having your wife's address in Thai is a good idea.
