My son was born in the US and he has an US Passport. However, He also has a passport from my home country. When I sent my application I put down his US passport number. Now I have to send copy of it. Should I also send a copy of his other passport?

Thank you.

Did you happen to mention he held dual citizenship when you completed your application? Will this come as a surprise to CIC?

You should Have emphasize on your son's dual citizenship while completing the application form. but since you filled in his citizenship as American (with his passport number) you better send only that passport copy because they would expect the passport (copy) to correspond with the passport number filled in on the form.
Good luck.

Hi

I think you should send both. Let's see if someone else has a different opinion.
Just the US passport, they aren't going to put another visa in the other passport.

But wouldn't it be better to send copies of both my son's passports if I put dual citizenship for my son in the application?

Thanks.
