Hi everyone,

I first applied my PR under CEC in July 2011. The photocopy of my student visa that I mailed out had an expire date on September 8th, 2011. I explained in my application that I am still a student and will renew my student visa in August 2011.

On October 4th, I received an email asking me to do medical exam without asking for additional supporting document. I went to do the medical exam and the result got mailed out on October 20th. At about the same time, I received my new student visa which has an expire date March 2012.

I have few questions that I am not quite sure:

1. I am wondering if it is necessary for me to mail Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa the photocopy of my new student visa? Couldn't they use my client-ID to check my resident status easily?

2. If I need to contact them about my new student visa, how should I do it? Should I mail them the photocopy of my new student visa to Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa? or I can do this faster by emailing them the scanned student visa?

I would much appreciate it if anyone can share his/her knowledge or experience on this issue. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
