PR expired jan 2025.
Can i Send paper PR renewal application signed Oct 2024, i signed it when i was in Canada at that time.
Currently i am not in canada,
Any alternative?

No. You must physically be in Canada on the day you submit the application to renew your PR card. You signed the application almost a year ago which would get flagged to begin with.

Your options are:

- Apply for a PRTD next time you want to travel to Canada. Not recommended if you don’t meet the RO
- Travel via the US and cross into Canada via a land border

Once you are in Canada, you can apply for a PR card. Again, not recommended if you don’t meet the RO (unless you have very strong H&C reasons).

Processing for PR card renewal based on H&C tends to be around a year these days so you’re often better off just remaining in Canada for 2 years which is a guaranteed way to renew your PR card
