Send my FBI letter or wait?

Hello Board,

Thank you again for everyone who always responds to my questions, regardless of how weird they are so forgive me for being paranoid on this one but I just received my FBI criminal history letter which I applied for 14 weeks ago. When I submitted my immigration application on Aug 31st, I included an addendum to it showing proof of my request and advising them that I will forward it as soon as it was received. Now that I have it, I am honestly scared to death to just mail it to an address and hope that it somehow finds it way back to my application packet so I'm wondering if I should rather wait until I receive my first letter (which I thought would be around week 6 but it's been closer to 9 weeks now) and see if they give me further instructions, or if I should take the chance and send it with signature confirmation to the same address that I sent my packet and hope it doesn't get loss in the shuffle?

Thank you so much for your reply!! I just didn't know if they would actually request it, or if they would see where I already made the request and then just wait for me to send it. I didn't want to fall into a position where we were both waiting for each other; but on the other side, as long as it takes to get that letter, I would hate to send it alone and just hope it finds its way back to my packet again.
