Send money to spouse in Canada from other country

I am going to marry Canadian spouse. I am planning to transfer funds from India to my partner account.
Could you please suggest whether my partner needs to pay tax on these funds or not ?
Note : Already tax paid in India on this money

No, your partner does not need to pay tax on it as long as it is not considered as income.

There won’t be any tax but the bank May charge a service charge .
