Hello,

I am seeking advise on what to do.

I am currently on a work visa and I am from South Korea. I applied for BC Semi-skilled PNP, I received an invitation, submitted the application and I am currently waiting for my Nominee letter. My goal is to become a Permanent Resident

I submitted my application on May 1st, but my Work permit visa expires on July 10th. I have the following questions:

1. If I receive my nomination letter before my visa expires, can I work under the "implied status"
2a. If I DON'T receive my nomination letter, can I still work under the "implied status"
2b. In this situation, should I apply for an extension of my work visa or a visitor visa to get an implied status instead of returning back to South Korea to wait for the nominee letter?

I have contacted SUCCESS and they said I am not able to for the implied status, but I have contacted a private firm and they advised me I can apply for it on Scenario 2.

Thank you very much
