Had some good news today, my partner finally got contacted after 14 months, basically it said your application is in the final review , once you re-do your medical, we will be able to finalize you application and be in a position to issue you a visa by December. E-cas hasn't changed since November last year.

So the question I have , if she was going to be refused would they ask her to re-do her medical as they expired in June ?, or just send her a refusal letter.

If they had already decided to refuse her application they would not request medical exams or other information. You're in the final stages now; once they process the renewed medical exam (and anything else they may have asked you for) you should be done and receive the approval notification.

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know as it's been 14 months now and never heard anything from them since last year.
My partner already booked her medical for Monday so things can get done, as I know Santiago is fast when it's comes to the medicals.
