Semester break issue

Hello,

I got offer letter from university Canada west and my class will start from october'18. But I want to start it from jan'19 by showing a deferred offer letter. Now question is, can I take summer semester off or it will create any prb in case PGWP? Will oct- Dec'18 be counted as semester drop?

Have you studied in Canada before? Yes you can defer admission although October-december is not a summer semester. Canada west MBA is not a quality MBA and would encourage you to consider other programs. The degree won't help you with Canadian employment like many other Canadian MBA programs.

If you defer to Jan 2019, Oct-Dec 2018 will not be considered a drop. Provided the Jan 2019 program has a regularly scheduled break in summer, there is no issue. If there is no scheduled summer break and you take the semester off, you will not be allowed to work and will not qualify for a PGWP.

Agree with above that you would be smart to switch to a better university.

can i apply for any other university for October intake as only 2 monthly left for October intake? Do i still have time to apply ?
