Hello,
I understand that we all are pretty much in the same boat here and while I can empathize, there are some questions which keep crossing my mind given the fact that exemptions are in place and flight services might open up soon.
Preface :
Q1. There is a lot of discrepancy regarding what qualifies as public transport and what does not. I wanted to know if Cabs are still available from the Airport area and international travels can still use them. I do not have a personal car.
Q2. Recently there has been news that AirBnBs in Ontario have been banned from accepting short term reservations
Q3. For someone who does not have family or relatives in Canada and cannot step out to get groceries, what are the best ways to get affordable groceries/meals?
We can use this as a forum for discussion and add any other questions. Would really appreciate if people who have recently landed/already in Toronto or have gone through the 2 week isolation process can help.
Thanks in advance
I understand that we all are pretty much in the same boat here and while I can empathize, there are some questions which keep crossing my mind given the fact that exemptions are in place and flight services might open up soon.
Preface :
- CoPR received in Feb 2020 and tickets booked for April end 2020 (might reschedule to May 2020 given the travel bans)
- Single traveler with relatives in Canada but cannot host during the 14 day window
- What are the options available now where one can self isolate (any other websites)
- Can we still book long term stays (28 Days and above) on AirBnb ?
- Any clue on which city will have relatively more affordable housing closer to the airport ?
Q3. For someone who does not have family or relatives in Canada and cannot step out to get groceries, what are the best ways to get affordable groceries/meals?
