Hi Guys,
Since end of 2013, i have my own company, providing my services to client (contract basis). I have got some of the reference letters from recruitment companies, who helped me in order to get contracts, would those be sufficient, or do i need to get some sort of accounts, invoices, etc, to claim this period of employment. thanks

Hello there,

It seems you too are in same boat as I am. Please find below the list of documents I am planning to submit -

1. Company Incorporation Certificate (Issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
2. Director Identification Number (as I am one of the company's director while other is mine mother, again issued by Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, India on June 02, 2011).
3. Billing done through PayPal (data worth of over 400 pages; average 1000 to 1500 transaction per year, all the transactions are majority in USD)
4. Company's Income Tax Return (Duly Signed and Attested by CA)
5. Mine Own Income Tax Return
6. Since Mine company is an internet media company, I got huge presence over the web ~ got number of publications, radio station and lots more which I developed in all these six years of existence.
7. Interviews of mine published in various publications.

I hope this helps.

All The Best,
K

You would need some document / letter in order to validate the roles and responsibilities you had with your clients to confirm your NOC

Thanks,
all the clients i have provided my services too, i've already got references from them, only issue was some references are split into 2 in order to get Title, Working hours, job duties, pay,
as recruitment agencies used to get me contract, and than i use to go on clients premises to do the re quired work. So agencies were not able to provide certain things specifically job duties, therefore, when i asked companies directly, they said as i wasn't their employee therefore they can't give any reference, but luckily having good relations with managers, some companies gave me reference letter mentioning my job duties on ly, so would need to combine 2 references from company + recruitment agencies ... hope that is okie?

Also as per other reply, do i still need to submit my tax/vat registration certificates, invoices, accounts for the years, company registration certificate, also i was a director and an employee of my company so was getting monthly salaries as well.. so do i need all above and other documents submitted as well? etc???

See the section on "proof of work experience," there's a paragraph on self-employment...
