Selection of province for Express Entry & Work History of Spouse

Hi All,

Regarding the selection of provinces in the express entry profile & work history of spouse.

Should I select all provinces or just the ones I would consider living in. Also when we select a few of the provinces we get another section asking if you would like to opt for PNP nomination. More specifically we get the PNP nomination from Ontario, British Columbia & Nova Scotia. Should be opt in for PNP nomination also or should we just select that we do not want to opt in. Our CRS score as per the CRS calculator comes to 475 and I think we can (god willing) get an ITA in the next round as we will be submitting our profile this weekend and will not require nomination from any province.

Also for the work experience of spouse should we mention my work experience or should just say no instead as I don't have any work experience in Canda and my wife who is the main applicant will not get any extra points in this regards. Also in a few threads I have read that we can mention spouse experience in personal history (post ITA). Please advise if this is the best course of action to take in this regards.

Would appreciate if someone could provide some assistance on the above query.

Hi,
Since your score is way above the current cut off you don't need to opt for PNP. PNP is opted by candidates who're not able to meet cut off. II selected all provinces, you could select one or more province of you choice, it really doesnt matter, the answer won't affect your pr application in anyway.

The secondary applicant's work history need not be mentioned in the express entry form as it won't add to the crs score. So, the answer should be no. Although, after ITA the work details should be mentioned under personal history.

1. You don't have to opt for PNP. Select all provinces.
2. You can mention 'No' for your work history and fill the details of your experience in the personal history of the PR application. This is not a problem.

Hi Guys,

A question regarding the personal history. So me being the secondary applicant. I mentioned my work history in the personal history section. Now the thing is in the LOE should I explain that I did not mention it in the work history because I was not claiming points for it. Should I mention this or should I not say anything in the LOE. Please advise.
