selected by Quebec, can i work in Alberta for 1 year with work permit?

I am a landed immigrant who immigrated through Quebec. I landed in Ontario but gave Quebec address for PR card.

Now I want to go work in Alberta for a year with my work permit valid for the next 2 years before moving to Quebec.

Will I run into problems with the Quebec govt folks if i execute this arrangement would you think?

If you are a landed immigrant, how can you still have valid work permit??
