Greetings everyone! It's a pleasure to connect with all of you. As a newcomer, I'm seeking guidance on how to properly present my inquiry. I'm particularly interested in the newly launched PNP program and am unsure about the best way to contact potential employers in New Brunswick, Canada. If anyone has insights or can offer assistance in navigating this process, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

PNPs have been around for many years so what newly launched program are you talking about. Do you even live and work in NB because if you don’t then chances are almost nil to get nomination.

I apologize for any inconvenience my inquiry may cause, but I must admit that I am not fully informed on the matter at hand. I am referring to the recently introduced program for foreign workers in New Brunswick, which I came across through various social media platforms and news outlets. To provide some context, I am a mechanical engineer with ten years of relevant experience, currently serving as a project office manager for Midroc Investment Group in Ethiopia. I appreciate your understanding, and I hope my questions are not misplaced.

NB PNP has been in place for many years. Go on the NBPNP site and research the different pathways. Also you are an engineer which is a licensed profession so cannot work in that field.

Canada and all provinces are cutting immigration numbers drastically so if not working or studying in the province or in Canada, chances are low for immigrating. Are you fluent in French? If so you have a chance with Canada and NB since the province is bilingual.

As stated, there is NO new PNP program.
And you are not a "new comer" since you are still currently working in Ethiopia.
Do you currently have a valid work permit to work in Canada? (as you are asking about program for foreign workers, to be a foreign worker, you need a work permit)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to clarify that I currently do not possess a work permit. While I am indeed employed in Ethiopia, I want to emphasize that I am new to this forum and eager to learn more about the opportunities available. Is there a possibility for me to explore any options or avenues within this community? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This is a volunteer forum to ask questions about immigration. First, you need to do your own research on immigration programs like Express Entry and PNP. If you don’t want to do the research then hire a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer to do the work for you. So go on the IRCC site and research the different programs. Canadian immigration is competitive and has been cut. Focus is on those who are fluent, in trades or healthcare.
