I am a veterinary graduate from India. I would like to work as a veterinary doctor in Canada. What should I do to attain my goal. Is it possible to join any diploma course in Canada and after that I register the board exam? . is it so tough to get a registration or to clear the vet council exam in Canada. Please help me.

Yours sincerely,

You have to register with AVMA or CVMA first. Then you have to clear the licencing exams, a process called as ECFVG.
It consists of three exams:
BCSE and NAVLE are theoretical MCQ based exams which can be taken at centers in your home country.
The last exam, CPE is a 3 days hands-on practice exam where they test your working ability in different subjects. You will have to book an appointment at a centre in US or Canada for that.
After you clear all the licensing exams, you are awarded with a licence to practice in North America.
Next step is getting a work visa or PR, if you don't have it already. That enables you to legally enter Canada where you can look for a vet job or start your own private practice.

For more info about CVMA registration and ECFVG, do a quick google search about them, you will know how to proceed.
