Seeking help from all out there who got PR through Express Entry..!

Hi Guys,

Today morning i received a background verification call from Canadian high commission and so did my employer. Both these calls came almost during the same time and asked me questions such as:
1. Where are you based currently ?
2. Explain your job duties at work?
3. How many offices do you have in India?
4. What is the name of your Managing Director ?
5. How do you get your salary ?
6. Is your boss related to you in any way ?
Etc...

Does anyone else out there or your friend also received such a phone call. If yes, is it a good sign or not? and how long after this phone call can I expect a final answer from the CIC guys?

I have read many times on the forum that they have received the call. They call to random applicants to verify the information. This means that your application is in progress. They will look at the responses provided by you and your employer and take decision. I hope everything works out smoothly. No one can guarantee the response duration from CIC. All the best!!!

please post if there is any other activity in the coming days regarding your case. My employer had also received a call 7 months back and since then no acitivity. I feel so hopeless.
