Hi,
I am planning to visit one of my friends in Waterloo, Canada (doing MSc at the university of Waterloo) in the month of May. I am a fully funded PhD student in a UK University but I don't have any family bond here in the UK. People are saying that it is hard to get visa without any family bond in your country of resident. As I am fully funded and I get paid every month, so I can show PhD as my job. I have booked hotel in Canada for 10 days (my intended visit duration) but I can see on the visa checklist that they want a travel document as well. Do I definitely have to buy ticket before I apply for visa? Seeking advice regarding my overall situation to make my visa application strong.
Thanks in advance..
Regards
