Say, my name is Amitabh, and I commonly go by the nickname "Amit" in office and social settings.
As "Amit" is not officially registered but is a name I frequently use in informal contexts, I am seeking guidance on whether it is appropriate to include it in the "Other names used" section of the form. When I explained this to the bank, they still want me to include this name under "Other Names used" section.
I want to ensure that my submission is accurate and complies with the standard practices without impacting my future job applications elsewhere.
