Seeking Guidance on Financial Support and Work Permit

Hello everyone,

My family and I have been granted refugee status here in Canada. We are currently residing in Ontario with my wife and two children. We have received our medical letter and have scheduled our appointment accordingly.

We are facing challenges living without a job and are seeking information on how to access financial support from the government. Could you please guide us on how to apply for this support? Additionally, is there a way to expedite the process of obtaining a work permit?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can go to any Ontario works office near to your locations with all documents like,
Your refugee claimants (if you are refugee claimants ) acknowledged paper.
Passport copies.
your housing agreements( if you are subletting from another tenant than ask them to write a letter saying that you guys are sharing flat/room/apartments with the amount that you are paying)

Or if you know any lawyers than ask them to guide to enroll benefits.
