I had an active EE profile with both CEC and FSW condtions flagged as "Met". However, in order to get OOPNP invitation I withdrew it and created a new profile. I ran into one issue where now I only see CEC conditions as "Met" and FSW as "Not met". Please note that I didn't make any changes in the new profile and my profile was actually just a carbon copy of the old.

So I was caught off guard by this and I decided to file a case-specific inquiry. Below is the answer I received this afternoon from CIC:

"Dear Client,

For the Federal Skilled Worker Program, you need to acquire at least one year of skilled work experience in the same NOC identified as your primary occupation NOC. Please consult our web page for details on the minimum requirements: *link omitted*

For more information on next steps, refer to: *link omitted*"

When I clicked on the link they have provided in the e-mail. I found the following:

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same NOC skill type (0, A or B) ,
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

I have done 3 jobs (all fall under skill type A but the NOC for one of them is different). All my jobs are continuous too (there are no gaps in between). Do they mean that the NOC has to be the same or do they mean that the NOC should fall under the same category (i.e. 0, A or B). If they mean the latter then how am I not eligible for FSW?

Can anyone help please...
