My husband is a Seaman and he got on board again on Nov.5, 2010. We applied under FSW category and had read an email today asking for our passports within 45 days. He has his passport with him..Can i seek for an advise what is the best thing to do? Thank you so much... :) Have a great day everyone!!! :)

When is your hubby due back on land? Who is the principal applicant? Write to them stating that you hubby is presently on the sea and will not be back until so so date. Ask CIC foran extention which they will grant!!

Hi! thanks for a kind advise. I am the principal applicant. His contract will expire first week of July 2010. Can someone relate to me how long will it take for a non-accompanying dependent be granted a visa...like in my hubby's case? Thanks for the enlightenment! God Bless us all :D :)
