SEEKING AN UPDATE

My application is with the Ottawa offiice being processed. Is there any way I can get another update rather can keep checking the notes on the website.

Someone said I could pay to get a proper update? request notes? Waiting around is killing me. Its been around nine months since I submitted the application.

The sponsor can contact his/her MP (Member of Parliament) who is able to communicate directly with CIC and CIC is required to respond quickly to the MP's inquiries.

Beyond that, you can follow along with the appropriate forum thread for the visa office your file was sent to and compare notes with other applicants, and watch as others post their updates to see when it's getting to around your application time.
