Hello Forum Members,
I'm seeking advice for my wife's situation. She had a student visa in Canada and currently holds a valid work permit until 2025. Due to a prolonged family emergency abroad, her visa expired, but her work permit is still valid.
We're facing a long wait for a new visitor visa (about 200 days). Are there alternative ways for her to return to Canada, like a land crossing from the US or via a cruise ship, given her valid work permit but expired visa?
Any experiences or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
