good evening everyone. Im a filipina and have candian boyfriend for 3 years. We plan to apply trv on june but my question is what are his main documents as a sponsor? And do i get chance to approved? I have a house (mortgage and under my name) own a car ( mine too) and i have 2 kids but i dont have work but i have proof of remittance and bank statement showing my bf support me. And im divorced 9 years ago. Lived in Japan for 5 years and no overstay history. And travelled in some Asian countries like HK, Macau, Thailand and Vietnam with my bf.
Hope someone can share on theri experienced applying trv to canada. And advice. Thank you and have a great day.

Hi Andy, thank you for taking time reading my concern and thank you for some tips and advice.
No we dont live together because he is too busy at work, but he visit me 6 times a year.
Do you think my children and assets is not enough as and evidence of strong ties in my country?
Well, if ever i wont be granted then we will apply for a conjugal partner together with my children because i think we have barriers. Im divorced but sad to say it doesnt recognized here in philippines and it takes so much time to process it.
Have a great day and hope to hear your opinion. Thank you

Do you have any business atleast if you have any business that can work as your employed, conjugal I don't think it can..so divorce is not allowed in Philippines or its a long process, if it's along process I would advise you to focus on getting your divorce and get married and apply for spousal sponsorship, I too applied for a trv last year and was rejected I was so depressed at that time I don't have property but so am going to buy some land and increase my account balance and I made some travel since I had never traved before so am just trying to build up every loophole to make my next application strong, my boyfriend is also going through a divorce with his ex wife but it's taking too much time other wise we would get married and apply for family class. What I have observed for us who have canadian partners it's not that easy to get a Trv coz the VO just sees that we might never come back so the...i hope you get your visa

Thank you Vendi for replying my concern here.
Well, i dont have any work because its my boufriend who provide everything. Including my kids tuition school.
I read on their site that to be able to be eligible for a conjugal partner you must have barriers/grounds. And i think my status being divorced which is not recognized here in Philippines is one of it, cause if i process it is the same process as annulment. Takes 3 years or more.
So fingers crossed. Hope to hear your opinion.
Thank you and have a great day

Okey dear if divorce is illegal in your country then you gat more chances for conjugal sponsorship and I think you should apply for that and prove your relationship like emails chats, the money he sends you pics and your past trv refusal and every other necessary document needed wish you luck
