Security screening

Hi everybody
Is there a specific reasons or general pattern for applicant to get security screening in his application ? Is it a random thing or certain people get ss?

Only IRCC/CSIS can answer this - and they won't.

In general, if you served in the military, or are from certain sensitive parts of the world, the chance of getting SS is higher. No one here knows exactly what the factors are. We can all just speculate.
