Hey everyone!
My husband's application has been in security screening since January 19th, 2019. PA from Syria, military experience (conscription) and has lived in 3 different countries (legally)...so, no surprise he was selected for SS. Hopefully the rumours of SS being only 6-12 months is true and something happens with our application this month!

Hello, am sure you have your pre-arrival letter by now. Comprehensive security screening might take a while. Somewhere between 6-12months.
That's totally false it can take years i mean literally years 2 3 4 5 10 this is a wrong perception that it only take upto 12 months.

Hi,

Can we look into GCMS and say when the SS has started?

It won't mention security screening specifically, but you can tell because everything in that section will be blank. It was obvious that it was the security screening because everything else had already been completed by then (eligibility, medical, etc.).

Its comprehensive screening. A34,35,37 are Sections of immigration act.

Is this is the last stage of comprehensive screening or god knows?
