Second RPRF email?

Hi Guys,

I just received a second RPRF email. I know its a batch processing but I had already received an RPRF request in Nov which I paid and sent the receipt for but this time the email actually has this line:

"This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose."

This wasn't there the first time. So am I to assume that its just a procedural email sent when your eligibility passes?

I sent the original receipt again explaining that I had paid for it already.

Mine is a bit different case, but I got the exact same email. I am a July 3rd applicant. I paid RPRF this weekend based on this email from CIC. However I still have no MR request form CIC for self and spouse. Have you completed your MR? Was it upfront? Could you help me with your timeline please? I am just trying to wonder what's going happen with my case..(sequence of events). Thanks for your time MapleLeafCEC..

My time line is under my signature on the left. I got the Medical request in Sept 2014. Completed and submitted it within 10 days. Got an RPRF request in Nov 2014. Paid it and then 2 weeks later I was asked for more documents to confirm that my job duties qualify under the NOC that I had applied with. Sent those documents right away. Got another RPRF letter last week saying eligibility has passed. ECAS changed to In Process on March 25th. I did not do anything upfront. Got all the requests from CIC.

Congrats mapleleaf...looks like you got your passport request..

I am still waiting for my MR...I guess optimistically it's atleast 3-4 months of wait for me..
