My medical exam will expire on June 10th and I am planning on travelling to Canada on June 20th. Can I get a medical exam in May (even before my medical exam expire) since IRCC is taking forever to update information. Is anyone else in this situation ?

Same situation here, I also want to do it before it expires because IRCC is taking too much time to update our medical...

Yes Same is with me as well, I have my Visa in hand and planning to travel for the fall intake and my medical is going to expire on 20th JULY as far as I have enquired we need to submit an IME form issued by IRCC in order to get take the medical examination (because the High commission has shifted the affiliated docs to COVID situation).
1. IME form can be generated once the medical expiry date is passed.
2. Also it will take time once the medical examination is concluded for the doctors to upload the results in the IRCC portal which the officer will be cross-checking at the port of entry at the Toronto Airport.

Any information about when will the medical examinations will be proceeding to normal?

Hello,

There is no harm in doing the medicals between 2 months or a month to its expiry. It will only have a closer expiry date compared to the first.

The same process upfront medical is conducted will be the same process to go by in undergoing another medical since the visa has been issued.

Best of Luck

Hello, I am in a similar situation. My medical has expired by date in January 2021, however IRCC approved/passed my medical on May 10, 2021 and issued my visa 2 weeks after.

Because of this I scheduled a medical next week, June 4, and I'm planning to fly out June 26. Should I continue to retake the medical and upload via webform even if IRCC has not requested for a new medical?

Where can we find the IME form?
