dear all,

My question about the way that CIC give points for the scond language, for example if i claimed a basic level for speaking french. CIC instructions say i have to obtain 181 points to achieve basic level. like this they didn't make difference between first langugage and second language , am I suppozed to achieve the same points even if the french is claimed as a second language?

Dear PMM,
Thank you for reply, I'd like to ask one more question. If i had cliamed basic level in the 4 competences, and i achieved in the test only 2 as basic level, they will give me the 2 points or they will ask me to pass the 4.

by the way i am FSW applicant from April,2006

Regard,

thank you ...

your answer means that there is no need to have another TEF test to improve my results and it is enough sending my result with basic level in 2 competences even if i clamed that i am basic level in the 4 competences

you need to get the minimum level of points, it doesnt matter what you claimed. thats my understanding.
