I did soft landing in Oct 2019 and came back to home country to fulfill my pending commitments. I'm going back To Canada in 10 days. I have few queries regarding the same:
1. Can I carry cash in CAD if it was declared in goods to follow list that was signed by authorities?
2. Can I also carry everything mentioned in goods to follow list with me?
3, Exchanger like Thomas Cook in India told me that as I already have my PR card and I'm not moving there first time, they can't sell CAD to me. Can anyone suggest how to buy CAD in such case?
4. I have acquired extract of my driving license. Will it be benificial to me there and also, for how long it will be useful ? Any suggestion regarding acquiring the license in Canada?
5. I'm going to buy Canadian health insurance for first 90 days before OHIP comes into picture. Can anyone tell me what I would need to submit for OHIP and when I can do that? Also, do I have to have any fixed stay location? What if I'm staying at my cousin's place, will it be enough for address as I won't have anything to be shown as address proof?
6. In which bank should I open the account?
7. I have read about settlement services for jobs, language learning (French). Are they good? any suggestion for such agency?
8. Can anyone suggest good job portals?
