Seasonal Processing Slowdown????

Does anyone know if the immigration processing usually experiences a seasonal slowdown this time of year? It seems to me that things have slowed down in the last 45 days or so. But it may just be that I am getting a little anxious. Thanks!

It actually does slow done, as staff go on holidays, they ramp up the student visa processing and the Canadian based staff usually transfer offices in the summer.
