Seal from the embassy police station, consulate authority, or notary public for German police repor

Hey all, I've stayed in German for more than a year so that I need a German police report. When I fill out the application form, a seal from the embassy police station, consulate authority, or notary public is required. May I ask where is the best and quickest way for me to get that? I reside in Canada right now, can I go to the local police station or RCMP to get a seal from them? Will it work? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The RCMP should work for your fingerprints inside of Canada. But as you mentioned since you have lived in Germany for a year, you will need a police certificate from Germany too. I'm sure you can find information online in regards to how to obtain a certificate from Germany. I did it for the UK and it only took three weeks.
