Got the admission in uoft and applied SDs on 21st Aug. We are still waiting
Kindly give us hope. Kid is stressing and we are from India

Has medical, background and eligibility started? SDS rarely takes weeks but months. Nothing to be concerned about. Assume winter intake.

Yea medical done, police verification done. But want to know if uoft gives the option for winter deferral ? They gave till 30th Sep. What are the options to expedite

There is no way to expedite. You waited very late to apply because SDS applications are rarely processed within 2 weeks. You also have to factor in up to 30 days for passport stamping. You have to talk to the school about deferral.

In India we were told it’s 20 days plus 10 days for stamping. Can I be hopeful . May I know this forum has any connections to ircc

This is a public forum, not a government site. You will read stories of people who applied in May through SDS and are still waiting. 20 days is when some, not all are processed. Again read stories on this forum of passport stamping taking up to 30 days right now. You can be hopeful but make a plan for deferral in the next 10 days.

At this point you should be looking at deferral. Starting even one week late is extremely difficult for students. Surprised U of T is even considering giving you until late September.

This is a forum, not a government agency. I don't want to bring your hopes down, but I applied via SDS in April 2024 and I still haven't received my results.
