Hi.

I have just been admitted to a University in Ontario for September 2010 intake.
I have been granted scholarships, grant, tuition bursary and full teaching assistantship. These are all mentioned on the offer letter sent by the university. The total will equivalent to my tuition fee and estimated living expenses for one year. Plus I have a friend who will sponsor me, whose house I will live in whilst the duration of the program. Do you think this will suffice as a proof of fund? Should I show my personal financial background still?
I have a son I will be leaving behind the Philippines so I guess that will establish that I am going back.
I am pursuing a 2 to 3 year graduated studies.
Can anybody help.

Thanks.

So you think it is sufficient already?

think this way
You need to convince that you have enough money/scholarship that you dont engage in work there
which you will show by the scholarship and sponsor

you have ties
which you will show by your family back and property on your name

Thank you. You are very helpful.

I think you have some misconcepts abou sponsorship. In case of student permit. It is the university which will issue document for you to get a visa from abroad not your friend.

Please read my statement again. I think you did not understand it well. Thank you.

Hi. I have submitted my application on May 11, 2010 but until now I don't get any replies. Do you know what it means?
