Schiphol airport ! neatherland

Dears;

I have a flight from Dubai to torronto via ( Schiphol Airport-Netherland ) transit ;

a lot of bad news spread everywhere mentioned that Schiphol airport ( Amsterdam Airport Schiphol – Operational issues are causing long waiting times ) .

Has anyone who recently travelled via this airport can confirm such issues?

Yes, there are issues. It's been in the news and you can easily google this.

If you haven't booked your flight yet, then try to pick a flight that has a different transit airport. If you've already booked your flight, then you'll just have to hope for the best. I would recommend traveling with carry-on luggage only and not to check a bag.

Would also suggest putting something like an AirTag in checked luggage. If it gets lost you’ll have a better idea where it is than the airline. Carry anything you will really need like medication, a change of clothes and some extra socks and underwear, weather appropriate clothing for when you get off of the plane, etc. with you in case you get stuck without your luggage for a few days.
