schedule test in 9 months after file transferred to local?

I heard that local office would schedule test in 9 months after your file was transferred to local office, is it true?
anyone waiting for 9 months contacted CIC to ask why still no test?

For 2014 applicants it seems to be within 6-7 months or so.

Well most applicants especially in Ontario have had their test in couple of weeks after file transfer

I still see some people who have their files transferred recently to Hamilton and Ottawa offices since 6 months and still didn't get a test letter ..

P.S those with no Residency Quesionnaire either !

Are you referencing the transfer to local office the Start of processing note in Ecas? if so then this line does not mean it started processing.
When the received line disappears, then it means they started really working on it and they send it around that time.
Usually people are getting invites within 3-6 weeks from the time the line disappears.. or RQs
