Hi guys,

So I sent in my application last week until I realized something bad. I'm applying under the CEC.
In the Schedule A form, under Personal History (Question 8 ), I listed all my work, study, summer job, high school, unemployment, summer vacation...activities and histories.

While there is NO gap in time AT ALL...i.e. every day has been accounted for...I realized that I didn't mention three 2-week trips to India that I took, and two 3-day trips to the US. During these trips that I took on vacation, I was either employed or studying in Canada. So while the employment/studying does NOT leave ANY gaps, will a failure to mention these vacations deny or fail my application?

I've been so stressed since last night! Anybody please advise!

Thanks!

G

Hi ,

I have applied for CEC and During my employment in Canada, I did have two trips to india for vacation purpose. But as My primary activity during that period was employment, I have mentioned only that one.

If we mentioned such activity then probalby we could not mentioned important other activity in past 10 years as there is no enough space in the form.

Regards,
Duke.

Hey Duke,

Thanks for your reply. You're right that your list would not fit, but they say on the form that you can attach extra pages. :p
Anyways.....I called up CIC and they said that they're only looking for major activities and to ensure there are NO time gaps.

I.e.

If you were employed and vacationing for a couple of days/weeks...no big deal.
If you were employed and vacationing for a month or more...kinda of a big deal....mention it in the list.
If you were unemployed and vacationing for ANY period of time....BIG DEAL...mention that you were unemployed and vacationing

That's the reasoning I got from the CIC agent.

Thanks!

hi, i went for a vacation outside canada for a month during my employment. i didn't put my one month vacation in the form. but it seemed to be alright. because i was still employed by my employer that time til now. i think one month is not a big deal, since i've got my PPR request today. :)

I think so as logically you are employyed and your primary activit is employment. so if you don;t mentioned the vacation then it should be ok..

Any way , thanks..
