Schedule A question

Hi,

My previous CEC application was rejected few months back, due to missing reference letters. I am re-submitting the application. Now, on Schedule A, there is a question:

Have you ever been:

refused refugee status or immigrant or permanent visa including CSQ, provincial nominee to Canada or any other country? and there is a box for explanation.

What should I select and what should I write?

This isn't a tricky question. You should state YES and mention your CEC application refusal with application #.
