Hi everyone
So I submitted an outland application to the UK in Oct for family class, common law. I am living with my common law Canadian partner in Victoria BC
My partner was approved as a sponsor within 30 days and my application was sent to london Oct 16th
Today i got an email from london saying:
I have to send Schedule A background declaration with details of activity and addresses since i was 18.
I am confused, the form i completed specified that you should complete the form as far back as 10 years or since 18, which ever was soonest, being 43 i completed the form for the last 10 years. The manual of guidance also specifies 10 years or since 18, whichever is most recent.
I do not understand why I am now being asked to complete a schedule with details going back to aged 18? Is this just a way to slow down your application?
Has anyone got any ideas, or has this happened to anyone else? In the email it says they take 4 months to deal with submitted documents which means my application is being unnecessarily delayed.
If they want to know what you have been doing since aged 18 why not just change the form to ask for your details since aged 18?
any thoughts appreciated.
