Ok, so I get there can be no gaps in time, but is it ok to have an overlap in time?

For example

I went to Uni for 4 years, and also worked part-time for about 3 years during that time

so...

02-2009 – 06-2012 – studying at University
01-2009 – 02-2012 – working at blah blah
05-2008 – 12-2008 – travelling

Is this ok? or does it have to flow exactly? Thanks

i don't see any problem with this. you're being honest, you're working from january 2009 to feb 2012 at the same time going in the university. now what's gonna happen is they will check with your university if you were legal to work during that time and the number of hours you are allowed to work.
