Dear Friends,

Need your help in filling Schedule A, Background/Declaration. Please see the following question:
Q. 6. Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever:
>>
d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the
Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

Issue: My mother had applied for PR to Australia in 2001, while we were there on a Visitors Visa, and at that time my age was 13 year. I was included in the application as an dependent child. Her application was declined in 2004 and I came back to my country in 2004 (my age 16). My mother and father also came back in 2005. Since then we are living in our country.
Question: Now my question is whether I should share/ declare this information in reply of above Q.6?
My arguments are:
(1). I was not the principal applicant of the PR application, and (2) I was minor at the time of applying and also when I came back to my country (below 18 years).
So is it really necessary to declare such information? If yes, then will it have any negative impact on my application?
Next connecting Issue: Schedule A, Background/Declaration:
Q.7. Education: Give full details of all the secondary and post secondary education (including university, college and apprenticeship training) you have had.
Issue: I used to go to school in Australia and have studied there for 2 years. In case I decide not to share above information of RP application refusal, even then I will have to share my school details. Then will it not result in concealing some facts?
I am confused. The only fear is that CIC might take a 14 years old family information as negative and decline my application.
Please advise.
Regards,
PSSMM
