Hi All,

I have worked in Canada for 2 years.

For 1 year(exact 362 days) I had a WP where in my mentioned OCCUPATION was: Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developers (NOC: 2174)
For next 1 year (exact 363 days) my mentioned OCCUPATION on WP was: IT Consultant (NOC: 2171)

I have mentioned Main duties which I was doing during both these two years on different occupations(both are related to software development).

Moreover, I have supervisor letter where in roles and responsibilities for both above NOC's is mentioned without any bifurcation.
I don't know how this form is useful for selecting my application for PR under CEC class.

On any NOC I haven't completed 1 year. Is it going to affect my PR application ?
Can you tell me know how can I fill this form in above scenario ?

Thanks,
Mukesh

It's important that each NOC indicated on the Schedule 8 form match the one on your work permit during that time, otherwise it may raise suspicion that you did unauthorized work.

It sounds like you continued in the same job for two years with no change in position or title. As a developer I can imagine the same duties being compatible with those two NOC codes, but it might look strange if your employer letter makes no distinction at all between those two periods of time...

Anyone else have input on this?

You can apply with a total of one year's experience across several NOCs.

You would fill in two rows, one for NOC 2174 and another for NOC 2171, and one ends where the other begins.
