Hey guys so after 18 days i have finally had some movement in my account. I got my schedule A request and celpip.
Couple of questions please.
1) I have way more personal information over then the last 10 years then any space that is provided any clues as to where to write it?
2) I was also rejected for a working holiday visa in the past simply reason was due to previous visa already i was unaware i had to allow 36months before could apply again. so in regards to the questions which one should i tick? 2 choices one is been refused admission and ordered to leave the country or been refused refuges status or pr or tRV which one apply s to a Working holiday visa?
3) Also is it simply a matter of print off comp fill out sign sand scan back on to comp?
Thanks so much

First off, did the schedule A request say you have to fill out the whole thing or just the statutory questions? If it directed you to the statutory questions you don't have to fill in the 10 years part.

You have to say yes to both questions asking if you have been denied a visa. On the lines underneath explain that you had already had one visa and were not eligible for another for 3 years, which you did not know. Don't worry, they won't reject you for that.

We filled it out on the computer, printed, signed, and scanned, but you could print first and write by hand. If you have to fill out additional activities in the 10 years, add the rest on a sheet of paper in the same format and direct their attention to it.

^^also, please confirm in your EE profile that you ticked yes for both the questions asking if you have been denied a visa etc etc...
I believe there was a case where the applicant said no on the EE profile and yes on the Schedule A, and has become a big issue with rejection and misrepresentation. ..
So pls confirm that your EE profile says the full truth too..then say yes again in Schedule A for these 2, and can explain everything:)
goodluck

Whats the actual situation??

Have you been refused before? If yes.. write yes and give the explanation. And make a CSE to CIC to explain that you mistakenly selected no in the EE questionare.

If you havent been refuse.. write NO as you did in EE questionare.

Hope this helps...

I don't think the EE profile statutory questions asked for PR/TRv rejectiond at any point...
I belive the 2 questions were : have you ever been refused a visa?
And then have you ever been denied entry or deported etc?

So if people have been refused visa for any country, we usually tick yes for both...pls confirm this..because I remember the wording being exactly the same on EE and Schedule A.

Pls don't send it without an LOE if there is any chance of confusion..

You need to answer Yes to both the questions in your EE profile? Immediately send a CSE and request to correct the answer for that question.
There is already a refusal where the applicant misunderstood the question having said NO to one of those f*****g questions in the EE while the applicant answered Yes to both the questions on SCH-A form and provided explanation but CIC refused for misrepresenting immigration history.

Questions are:

• Has <xyz> you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Quebec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
• Has <xyz> ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

CIC is very tricky in the first question where they ask a lot of things in one question and this is where many people get slipped.
Answer to both should be YES if ever visa is refused to Canada or any other country.
I personally think that CIC should split these questions into pieces for each category and should be to the point.

ya see for the first i answered no as i was refused under a working holiday work permit which is not a temporary resident visa.

Then for the second i answered yes as i have been refused a work permit.

now these are the questions for my schedule A

1)been refused refugee status, an immigrant or pr visa or visitor or temporary resident visa.

2) been refused admission to or ordered to leave canada or any other country.

As you can see question 2 is completely different and is the one that screwed me over.

How can i save this or what can i do?
Thanks so much..

I am not an expert but let me tell you that this 100% applies to those who are from non visa exempt countries. Are you from a visa exempt country? This is kind of very black and white question for those who are from visa exempt countries. If I were you and from visa exempt countries, I would have said YES to the question and provide explanation. You should seek advise from experts as well.

Now coming to Sch-A, it has a question:
6-d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
This is the similar question as to the one in EE. If you mark YES to this then there would be inconsistency between this and your EE question where you have said NO.
6-e) been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country?
I believe it applies only if someone has been refused admission at the port of entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country. Say yes if it applies yo you otherwise do not worry.

well a resident visa is technically different then an IEC work permit is it not? so when i saw question 2 on express entry it said permit so i said i would tick that one. now on scd a it does not have the same question. which has me feeling kind of screwed over.
I am from europe now on an lmia in canada.
