Scarborough to St Clair

Hi Folks,

I received a letter saying that my file is at St Clair. To give a background - I took test last year (Jan 2014) at Scarborough, got RQ from Scarborough, which I quickly responded. Now it seems my file is moved to St Clair.

Does that mean any good sign for oath or is it big black hole? Any input and thoughts?

Because of un-stamped US trips

Un-Stamped US trips? But they don't stamp if you travel by car and this is very common. Did you missed any dates on your residency calculator?

I always maintained my own log. In two of my entries via Vermont, CBSA do not have records of my entry, which is weird. I realized it once I received CBSA ATIP.

In terms of the days residence you applied with, were you close to the 1095 days required? Or did you apply with months of buffer time, ie. "extra" days?

I ask because I am also facing the test (next week, Jan. 30) and I am missing US entry/Canada re-entry stamps as well though I have boarding passes and flight itineraries. In my four years, I had 5 entries/exits, all to the United States. I didn't get RQed but I am nervous that I will be due to this inconsistency.

In any case, I hope it works out for you, and you get the oath invite soon!

so, it took them almost 7 months to move your file from one office to another?? ???
have you ever called CIC or ordered ATIP during that time?
we just had a test @ scarborough and they said that our file is moving to st. clair... I hope it wont take them 6+ months to process it.
I will give CIC a call tomorrow to check what our update. Good luck!

I reached out to my MP office today. They advised that all the RQs from all the offices in Ontario are being moved to St. Clair. St. Clair staff is augmented to handle RQ. He said he will find out in a day or two situation with my app and let me know.

Did he give you any promise on speeding up your application, etc.?

Ha.. funny. .. Guy said upfront, all he can do is check the detailed status and push them if 36 Months have passed. Nothing else!
