Scarborough Office (Jan - Feb 2017) case pending...

Folks, I know I probably shouldn't be too worried. But..

Below is my timeline, appreciated if someone can share yours if you're in the same boat.
PS: I know there is the Google Sheet but since it's screwed up/locked, it's not very updated somehow...

App Sent: Jan 30, 2017
App Delivered: Feb 02, 2017
AOR: Feb 10, 2017
In Process: Feb 20, 2017

No update ever since Feb 20. I've requested two ATIP this month and last month, there seems to be no progress at all. The ATIP shows the residence and language assessment hasn't even started yet.

call them, its unusual, just ask the officer whats going on with my application? they might have sent u letter demanding something that u didn't get letter for some reason like police report.or any paperwork. don't worry sleep well.

I remember my pr application they sent me police criminal cheque from foreign land, I didn't get the letter so the application stuck (in process) mode for 8 months until I called, by know I could have been citizen.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have called IRCC 1-800 a few times. Everytime, they gave you the same answers saying that the processing time is still within one year time-frame so I shouldn't be worried. :-(

I called up CIC few days ago again to ask the status on my file and it has still not changed. still DM and waiting for oath schedule. I have my vacation coming up so i have advised CIC not to schedule an oath when i am away. Interestingly when me n my husband were talking to the CIC representative, he actually told us about a pilot project being held by CIC where you get an opportunity to directly speak to a Citizenship officer who actually takes decisions on the citizenship application file.

I spoke to one such officer and asked few questions, so if any one of you requires more answers which the representatives are unable to answer you can ask them to put you in such pilot projects where the officers themselves give you a call. Hope this helps just wanted to share my two cents
