Scans vs. photos for documents

I don't have a scanner at home, so I normally just take photos of my docs with the camera on my phone. The quality is high enough, but will CIC accept docs like this? Thanks.

It's fine as long as the documents are legible.

Yeap make sure its clear and it should be ok. Also ensure it fits the required file size.
